SMS Consent & Messaging Policy

Devon Lanes is committed to a transparent and consensual mobile experience. We use SMS specifically to provide requested information to our customers, such as booking links, lane availability, and event pricing.

How We Collect Consent

Our SMS program relies on a Double Opt-In process to ensure that only the handset owner receives our messages:

  • Initial Request: A customer initiates contact by calling Devon Lanes.
  • Verbal Request: During the call, if a customer asks for information, our automated assistant (Jennifer) asks: “I can text that link to you. Is it okay if I send you a text message?”
  • Digital Verification: If the caller agrees, we send an initial confirmation SMS. No link or marketing is sent yet.
  • Final Opt-In: The customer must reply YES to this confirmation text. Only after this digital handshake is the requested information delivered.

Program Details

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your direct requests. This is a non-subscription service.
  • Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our number.

  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
  • No Purchase Required: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Privacy & Data Protection

We value your privacy. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
